We are looking for an External Communications Manager to lead the day to day corporate communications for the UK business. You will have a

strong background with experience gained in both agency and industry,and will ideally have knowledge of regulated environments. ABI InBev is going through an exciting period of growth, and we can offer a challenging and rewarding career for the successful candidate.

Role Purpose

  • To promote and protect ABI's corporate reputation
  • To promote and protect reputation of ABI brands
  • To develop, lead and deliver ABI UK category initiatives
  • To promote SMART drinking goals
  • To promote and deliver Department of Health and brewers of Europe labelling pledges (relating to responsible consumption and labelling of ABI products)
  • To develop, lead and deliver ABI UK digital communications strategy
  • To develop and deliver corporate narrative and profiling
  • To handle crisis management
  • To manage Institutional and CA budgets where applicable
  • To ensure effective representation of ABI externally with media, industry and political stakeholders where relevant (Beer category)
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Substantial experience of day to day media relations, both proactive and reactive, covering corporate, brand, CSR, financial and crisis communications
  • Experience of developing and executing effective strategies and related execution plans for corporate, brand, CSR, financial and crisis communications
  • Management of in-house (ideally FMCG) press office and relationships with agency partners
  • Proven ability to deliver digital campaigns with measurable results
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior influencing skills
  • A team player who can build strong relationships both internally and externally and earn the confidence of senior stakeholders within the business
