Job Description
A senior role in the Food Sales Leadership Team with the global FMCG leader.

As Trading Director reporting to our Sales Director, you’ll lead a key business unit, with the objective of generating a world-class customer relationship between Mars and our customers to deliver the annual sales and profitability targets. Based in Waltham three days per week and building the three-year sales and investment strategy for customers within the business unit, you’ll be a key member of the Sales Leadership team, responsible for creating and deploying our UK sales. Key deliverables include:
developing a three-year strategy for business unit/key accounts within UK Food
developing strong collaborative joint business relationships between Mars Food UK and key customers
direct line management of five associates
acting as sales representative on one of our key brand battlefields.
Of degree calibre, you must have extensive experience of customer development, preferably blue chip FMCG, including account management. Your experience of managing multiple brands and/or sub-categories complements your experience within a multi-functional business unit, underpinned by skills in forecasting, financial analysis, P&L management and supply side knowledge. With a strong grounding in operational and strategic sales, leading, inspiring and motivating engaged teams, you’re able to engage the customer and develop strong mutual relationships.
