About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Raw Materials Technologist at The Pizza Factory in Nottinghamshire. This opportunity will offer you the chance to build upon your current experience within a fast paced state of the art food production facility. It will allow you to play an integral part in the continued development of this site.

As the Raw Materials Technologist you will work closely with our New Product Development team with the development of new product ranges. You will collect data from existing and new suppliers and prepare reports and risk assessments in relation to raw products (meats, cheeses and vegetables) You will understand the importance of efficient supply chain relationships and the high risks surrounding fresh/raw products.

You will be…

From a chilled food production background
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
You will have worked closely with NPD and QA teams previously
Knowledgeable in raw materials
Experienced in Supplier liaison
Analytical and a good eye for detail
Proficient in preparing detailed reports and risk assessments
Qualified to HND level or above
