Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Central Technical team for existing QA staff within the business to continue their professional development within the independent factory audit team in a secondment position for 1 year. The team carries out GMP and Food Safety audits across the convenience and primary sites in Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Factory Audit Team Leader, you will be given the opportunity to work to defined quality standards assessing best practice across operations including process control, product care, hygiene and ancillary areas at different Moy Park sites. Day to day duties will include: auditing existing site practices, providing feedback during the audit and assisting in developing an understanding of the required standards across a range of areas; producing written reports of the audits and summary reports of the sites; assisting in the development and implementation of new auditing systems and standards, and identifying issues/ areas for improvement.

You should be an experienced QA auditor who is keen to progress your skills and experience further within the business. Possessing sound knowledge of HACCP/ BRC/ Food Legislation, you will also be a good communicator with the ability to provide feedback to site teams on audit findings and produce professional, timely audit reports. An experienced team player you will be able to demonstrate the organisational and problem solving skills you have developed within the business to date and a desire to build upon these further.

Please note that as our factories operate 24/ 7, you must be flexible to vary your working hours to cover all shifts. The exact nature of the shift pattern will be discussed at interview. A full driving licence is also required as you will have to travel between sites.
