This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join our fantastic Five Star fish site in Grimsby. This site is currently turning over £80 million with the aim to getting over the £100 million mark shortly. With a lucrative £45 million M&S contract secured we need someone with the strategic leadership skills to take this site onwards and upwards through a period of tremendous growth and transformation.
Five Star is now a prominently chilled production factory, with its own cold storage of 3,500 pallets, new upgraded production lines along with an increase of pack out lines from 1 to 4, along with £5million site investment, now is certainly an exciting time to join!!
You will have 6 direct reports, with the site now standing 500 strong, with over 400 SKU’s.
With the support of the management team, the General Manager is responsible for delivering a profitable growing business through excellent leadership, establishing a clear vision for the site’s future development and setting and delivering the operational standards for the site.
About You:
Suitable candidates will have extensive General Manager Experience within a frozen/chilled food environment.
We are also looking for individuals who:
- Have a proven track record of leading by example, effectively communicating at all levels and building strong working relationships.
- Are change orientated and highly motivated with excellent customer focus and a high level of organisational skills.
- Have a determined approach together with a drive to deliver results in a fast paced environment.
