Production Process Manager – Liverpool – CRTB894968
Our client is a large national company with 14 factories based through the UK. Based from their Liverpool factory they are looking to recruit a Production Manager for their processing department. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward thinking company who are leaders in their field.
This role is working alongside Engineering, Logistics and Technical departments controlling the processing facility. You will have direct management of 26 operatives while working closed with H&S protocols.
They are looking for a forward thinking people manager who is passionate for production. Someone who understands Health and Safety and the company’s compliance to it. Your role will be to ensure that the company’s liquid product is processed to high standards while minimising waste.
The factory works on a 7 day operation however your team works on a 3 shift basis 6-2/2-10/10-6. You will have experience planning production schedules using excel to ensure that appropriate manning levels are maintained while driving efficiencies on site working with continuous improvement methodologies.
To be successful in your application you will need the following skills.
· You will need a formal health and safety qualifications like IOSH Managing Safely and\\or NEBOSH Diploma as well as having a full working knowledge of MS OFFICE.
· A track record in continuous Health & Safety improvement programs
· Managing a team within a production environment.
· An understanding of Continuous improvement.
· Experience working within a liquid movement facility.
The salary on offer is dependent on experience between £28,000 - £30,000
· Hours of work 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
· 20 days leave per annum, increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years’ service to a maximum of 25 days
· Life assurance x 2 salary
· BUPA Healthcare (after 12 weeks probationary)
· Company pension scheme (1% company contribution)
