A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Process Technologist to gain experience within our soup plant in Grimsby. This is a unique opportunity for an entry level technologist to broaden their knowledge through working on a 6 month contract and getting the chance to work on behalf of leading retailers such as M&S. For those in the know, these are the highest standards in food retail production and as such a great grounding for a lesser experienced Process Technologist to build a great CV for future opportunities.

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic with a great eye for detail who can be coached by the Senior Technologist on soup production processes. Someone who will quickly establish themselves within our closely knit, friendly team.

This is a rapidly growing site having more than tripled its turnover in the last 5 years, and with plans to double that over the next 5 years.

The ideal candidate will have 18 month / 2 year experience within a Process Technologist role, however a strong Technical background and understanding of the role of Process within the later NPD stages would also be considered. You will be responsible for assisting with factory trials, working face to face and remotely with our retail partners, project management, working closely with the Process Coordinator to ensure detailed information is recorded and handed over in a timely, developing new production methods, helping to build product specifications, stakeholder management, assisting with coaching the shop floor workforce and all associated tasks.

This is a predominantly shop floor based role and will require you to be comfortable with accountability for actions.
