Job Description
Production Shift Manager - Wirral - 894960
Our client is a Large Fast Moving manufacturing company based on the Wirral. They are looking for someone with great leadership skills and someone who can handle themselves under pressure within a fast moving packaging environment.
Reporting to the Head of Operations on site you will lead a team of Production Operatives working within a high volume low margin business. Your role will be ensuring the manufacturing process is controlled to produce products on time and to cost while being 100% committed to site safety. While ensuring critical HACCP points are maintained and monitored.
You will be a competent leader with a proven management track record and be able to demonstrate this through leadership and communication. The role is responsible for product delivery and process outputs while motivating and leading your team to set KPI’s whilst maintaining health and safety, quality, food safety and customer service standards. Being in charge or driving positive changes to the company using the latest continuous improvement techniques to improve KPI’s
Essential skills
· Proven Production Shift Management experience in a Lean environment
· Working within a FMCG environment like Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical or fast moving packaging.
· Experience of Lean Manufacturing Tools TPM, SMED, 5s, Six Sigma, Kaizen
The role is paying between £38,000 and £46,000 working on a 12 hour continental shift pattern. Company benefits for the role include Heath Insurance, bonus, Pension and 25 days holiday.
