Management Accountant – Liverpool – CRTB 894970

Our client is a large national company with 14 factories based through the UK. Based from their Liverpool factory they are looking to recruit a Management Accountant for their team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward thinking company who are leaders in their field.

We are looking for a candidate to be fully qualified, someone to be able to give the role 100%. You will be working in or have experience of working in a manufacturing/ logistics company.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts. Assist in preparation of Monthly and annual Financial Accounts.

KEY TASKS

Preparation of information for the weekly and monthly management accounts and management reporting.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual Financial Accounts,
Stock Control, Cost control, project and Capex appraisals.
Work as part of local finance team to cover regular accounting administration and ad hoc tasks
Work closely with central accounts to ensure deadlines and timescales are met.

BEHAVIOURAL CHARACTERISTICS

Proactive personality with a logical/methodical approach
Team player willing to be flexible to ensure achievement of department objectives
Able to work calmly and accurately under pressure
Must be a strong communicator

QUALIFICATION
ACCA or CIMA Newly Qualified.

PROVEN ABILITY

Experience in an accounting role
Excellent IT skills including MS Excel

PACKAGE

The salary on offer is £32,000 Depednign on experience.
Hours of work 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
20 days leave per annum, increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years’ service to a maximum of 25 days
Life assurance x 2 salary
BUPA Healthcare (after 12 weeks probationary)
Company pension scheme (1% company contribution)
