Job Description
We are currently seeking a committed and positive individual to fill the role of Meat Porter at our Preston site.
The Role:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of refrigerated vehicles
- Ensure that strict stock rotation is adhered to in all chillers
- Load vehicles with lamb and beef, ensuring that vehicles are clean before loading
- Cut beef and lamb bodies into quarters ready for factory production
- Pick out and prepare lamb and beef for the individual customer requirements
The successful candidate will:-
- Display a positive and proactive attitidue
- Work well to strict deadlines
- Ability to cope well under pressure
- Be reliable and hard working
