At the heart of this, our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 7,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.

One of our key sites which is in a period of growth and is vital to our business’ future plans is based in Coupar Angus and is a major part of our UK Poultry business. We currently have an opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join this thriving site and manage our hygiene operation.

Hygiene is a hugely important part of our business and this will be an opportunity for you to run a high profile, 7 day hygiene operations as part of a growing site in the spotlight. You’ll be managing over 40 colleagues including training and development, the deep clean schedule and have a major input in audits.

Responsibilities:

Managing hygiene, co-ordinating team activities and maintaining audit ready hygiene standards at all times.
Managing and providing training for the teams.
Ensuring correct use of chemicals, utilities and equipment.
Making recommendations to Management Team on measure to improve hygiene performance and quality.
Liaise regularly with Engineering, Production, Technical, Planning and other departments to ensure work is carried our correctly and effectively.
Actively involved in customer audits including unannounced retailer audits.

Requirements:

Knowledge of hygiene from either a Hygiene or Production background.
Strong man-management skills and confident in your ability to manage over 40 colleagues.
