About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Team Leader to join the production facility at our successful Solway Foods in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. This opportunity will offer you the chance to build upon your current knowledge within a fast paced state of the art food production facility. It will allow you to play an integral part in the continued develop of the site – ensuring production activities and targets are continuously met.

As a Hygiene Team Leader you will relish been a hands on team player with strong leadership skills. You will be customer focused and understand the customers’ needs. You will strive to improve quality and service for internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate high levels of resilience – with a never give up approach. Your day to day duties will include (but not limited to);
Leading a team of cleaning technicians responsible for cleansing production machinery and plant including; conveyors, cutting equipment, spray room and tray wash equipment. You will ensure key deadlines are met by delegating workloads and monitoring there progress. You will carry out visual inspection of equipment before releasing back to production.

You will be…

Experienced in Hygiene techniques and process’s
Knowledge of Swab and Chemical Testing beneficial
Proven experience gained in a Food Production facility (ideally chilled food)
A confident team leader and delegator
You will be a “go getter” and results driven
Strong personality
Excellent communicator
Calm – not panic in a crisis
Personable - outgoing and able to build trusting relationships with site colleagues and stakeholders.
