Job Description

This role will be split between Hygiene and Prep

You will be part of a team manufacturing Pizzas. You will be responsible for cleaning the factory to the required hygiene standards within allocated timescales, ensuring all health and safety procedures including (COSHH) are adhered to.

As part of this role you will be required to work in the preparation area, so you will be responsible for the preparation of ingredients to the correct specification in line with agree standards.

Qualification Requirements

COSHH qualification would be beneficial

Knowledge

Previous knowledge / experience of ensuring that departments / areas are cleaned thoroughly to the required standards

Previous knowledge / experience of stripping machinery as needed, including cleaning, rinsing off, drying and sanitising as necessary

Previous knowledge / experience and understanding of chemicals used on site and titration

Skills

Must Haves :

A reasonable level of English language as per the test pass required for ESOL
Basic numerical and literacy skills along with manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and to repeat simple processes without the need for instruction
Flexibility in their approach to work in terms of hours and duties

Additional Requirements

To complete paperwork accurately, clearly and on time as necessary including checking the stock of chemicals

Minimise waste in their own area of activity and report issues

To report issues that may effect production, e.g. machine problems, safety issues
