The site uses 9,300 tonnes of flour and 6,000 tonnes of chocolate to produce an impressive 25,000 tonnes of biscuits every year!
About The Role:
As the Divisional Health, Safety & Environmental Manager you will as a Key Member of the Site and Divisional leadership Team. You will provide directional support in the planning, measuring, reviewing and auditing of health, safety and environmental activities to meet legal requirements. Provide technical and other advice to the management team. Contribute to the continuous improvement in business performance. Ensure all SHE business plans are up-to-date, tracked and actions generated and completed.
You will participate in the group wide H&S Leadership team to help develop and deliver Group strategy and standards. Coach, train and mentor the Divisional H&S team, the General Managers and the site management teams.
About You:
As a Health & Safety Manager you will hold a NEBOSH Diploma, Environmental Auditing Qualification and have a strong background in Health, Safety and Environmental requirements ideally within a food Manufacturing environment.
In this position you will not only be responsible for the Health and Safety for the Uttoxeter site, but you will also be responsible for overseeing new procedures at out Batley and Kirkham Factories. This will mean there will be a certain amount of travel required in this role.
