Job Description
As Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you’ll play a central role in deploying a proactive Occupational Health Service, ensuring legal compliance, maximising attendance and supporting our health and wellbeing agenda. Reporting to our Senior Occupational Health Manager and providing OH leadership at site level, including the mentoring and supervision of junior personnel, you’ll provide professional advice and support, working closely with HR and line managers. Owning the budget for site health and wellbeing activities and supporting the Senior OHM in the development of the service strategy and planning, you’ll also:
take responsibility for risk assessment and management of the site health surveillance programme and evaluation of the results
collect and evaluate site metrics to monitor trends, establish priorities and plan appropriate interventions
own nominated occupational health policies, standards and procedures.
A qualified Occupational Health practitioner with a proven track record, you’re an excellent people manager, able to provide occupational health expertise and clinical leadership to the business whilst maintaining high standards of Occupational Health and aligning the service to local client needs. Strong on planning, you’re also able to provide an effective case management service and manage the processes for work, non-work related illness and injury and risk assessment to minimise the risk of litigation. Your other strengths include:
