Job Description
Reporting to the Feed Mill Operations Manager, you will be required to cover all aspects of engineering on site, ensuring that equipment, services & utilities are available to meet production and legislative/legal requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a robust and flexible approach are required to work within this fast-paced, demanding and challenging position.
This role also requires the ability to obtain quotations for spares and consumable stocks, and oversee small project installations from concept to handover.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and carrying out improvements to equipment in the feed mill.
The ideal candidate must have the necessary qualifications and proven experience of mechanical, welding and fabrication. Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds standards would be beneficial
The role requires working 10 hour days (6am to 4pm / Midday to 10pm) within a shift pattern rota which will include some weekend work.
