About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Factory Compliance Technologist at Gunstones Bakery. This opportunity will offer you the chance to build upon your current experience within a fast paced state of the art food production facility. It will allow you to play an integral part in the continued development of this site ensuring quality standards are continuously met.
As Factory Compliance Technologist you will work closely with site QA Managers and be responsible for building and maintaining a robust Quality System to meet legal requirements and customer Codes of Practice and Guidelines. You will ensure the site is operating within the strict compliance regulations by carrying out technical KPI reviews and compliant audits. Your day to day duties will include (but not limited to)
Liaise with 2nd and 3rd parties and participate in technical standard developments ensuring the site is kept informed of significant changes in the pipeline to allow adequate planning (budget, resource etc.)
Delivering and maintaining the external audit strategy
Responding to major food quality, safety and legality issues
KPI and technical information management and submissions
To give direction and support to the HACCP team ( as a core member) in the development of improved systems which include the correct implementation of internal audits
Managing and maintaining up to date technical risk assessments (allergens, segregations and integrity)
