Job Description
It takes more than a certain something to create one of the UK’s biggest and brightest food companies. It takes the four magical ingredients of entrepreneurial spirit, the motivation to thrive on challenge, the desire to lead the food industry and ability to work with agility and pace. These ingredients have seen 2 Sisters Food Group become a 23,000-strong team in just 20 years!
We are built on people like you: an exceptional Production Supervisor who has what it takes to make an impact at our Sandycroft site; the largest primary poultry site in the 2 Sisters group that slaughters, cuts and packs poultry.
The site primarily deals with standard birds with one million birds processed each week. Sandycroft also receives 160,000 birds a week from other poultry plants for cutting and packing.
About the Role:
As an Engineering Services Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all factory utilities and machinery, including boilers, refrigeration and legislative routine checks. You will be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and will work alongside a well-oiled Engineering Team to reduce down-time and maximise productivity within the factory. You will come from a similar role and have a strong knowledge of automation, pneumatics, hydraulics and effluent plants.
The role requires someone highly responsible as a large part of the job requires independent thinking however guidance is available through various personnel and manuals. You will be Deputy Duty Holder for the site and your time will be predominantly spent in an office environment but will also involve frequenting the factory floor regularly.
About You:
Can you do it? Yes you can, if you’re fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that’s created our brand. Bring those qualities along with the skills and experience below and you will have the recipe for success: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
