The division employs over 7,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
About the Role
Our production sites are the core to our business and not only do they keep our business running, but they feed the UK every day. Our Scunthorpe site produces a third of the chicken used by the business, a vital part of 2 Sisters Food Group has an opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer in a hands on role to work within a team of three Refrigeration Engineers and contribute yourself to keep our site running 24/7. You will work within a key site which is receiving heavy investment and will maintain our Ammonia Refrigeration systems. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Work efficiently to ensure all refrigeration engineering work is completed in a safe manner.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of systems to identify and implement improvements.
- Carry out machine inspections, conduct relevant repairs or improvements and carry our preventative maintenance on equipment.
You will be an experienced Engineer with a passion for improvement and development and will also:
- Be a fully qualified refrigeration engineer with Apprenticeship/City & Guilds Level 3/Equivalent.
- Have experience in a manufacturing / production environment.
- Ideally have experience within the food industry.
- Be experienced in working with Ammonia.
