An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced factory maintenance engineer to progress to the next stage in their career. We have an opening for a hands on Engineering Team Leader at our fast growing soup plant in Grimsby. This is a great chance for you to lead our shift engineering team as they keep the factory running, reducing downtime and improve the production efficiency through managing OEE.
We have a great team in place and as such are only looking for the best, someone who will add value to the team. A mentor and leader, someone with motivation and drive to help maintain and develop the excellent culture we have within our site engineering team. You will need to be able to identify skills gaps and coach lesser experienced engineers in diagnosis techniques, lead from the front by demonstrating your professional engineering capabilities.
This is a hands on role and we’re looking for someone with leadership qualities that enjoys been on the tools. If you’re looking to move away from hands on engineering, then this isn’t the role for you…..
About You:
Key skills / Experience / Qualifications
HNC or equivalent within Electrical Engineering
Multi-skilled (Electrical / Mechanical)
Solid factory maintenance background
Experience within a food / FMCG factory would be advantageous
Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous
