Overview
Shift Production Manager – Manchester – CRTB894988
Our client is a Food Manufacturing company based in Manchester who are striving to reach world class standards who are part of a Multi-National manufacturing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business and be a key influencer on site.
You will be an experienced manager within a food or beverage manufacturing company. Your role will be to ensure compliance to the factory’s operating standards while ensuring safe and effective running of the operation across your teams within a 24/7 operation.
The role is responsible for product delivery and process outputs while motivating and leading your team to set KPI’s whilst maintaining health and safety, quality, food safety and customer service standards.
You will need excellent communication skills and be able to thrive in a continuous improvement culture supporting all aspects of lean manufacturing.
Essential skills
- Previous experience managing/leading teams
- Previous experience of manufacturing environment
- Able to demonstrate decision making capability
- Organisation skills for self and others
- Effective communication skills
- Numerate & literate – able to calculate and interpret OEE’s – probably a Manufacturing (or related discipline) graduate
- Problem solving skills
- Effective delegation
- Demonstrates Pride and Passion in the work they do
- Good standard of PC skills – especially spreadsheets
The role is paying between £37,000 to £44,377 working on a 40/42.5 hour week dependent on shift pattern.
