Job Description

We are working with one of the TOP 10% Manufacturing companies in the North West. They make top quality branded and unbranded products for a Worldwide client base. They are looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Engineer to join their maintenance team. This is a multi-skilled role with a Mechanical bias but they would like someone with an understanding of Electrical also providing break down and continuous improvement maintenance support.

They are a fast moving packaging firm based in in Lancashire. You will report into the engineering manager on site and will be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance on production and plant. Ideally you will be qualified ONC level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering but this isn’t essential.

The Candidate will need the following

Apprentice trained Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Qualified to minimum NVQ level in Mechanical Engineering

Experience working on packaging machinery

Working within a Food, Beverage, FMCG or Secondary Pharmaceutical business

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £35800 for working on a continental shift 4 on 4 off days & nights 7 till 7.
