And we’re built on people like you: an influenticial Head of Treasury who has the expertise and gravitas to make an impact within the Group Finance team.
About the Role:
A pivotal and challenging opportunity to lead and manage the Treasury function, with a Group revenue of £3.2bn across 45 manufacturing sites. Based out of our friendly Shared Service Centre in Wakefield, this is home to colleagues from group functions, including group finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable and business accounting, group HR, procurement & supply chain, IT and communications.
Reporting into the Director of Group Finance (with 1 direct report) and forming part of the leadership team, you will agree and develop the strategy and vision for Treasury, ensuring that strategic objectives are aligned with business requirements. Key areas include:
- Group treasury management, including cash management/cash forecasting, arranging and maintenance of financing, foreign exchange risk management
- Ownership of banking relationships and reporting to financial institutions
- Ownership and embedding of treasury policy
- Ownership arranging Finance Leases
- Ownership of all forms of Treasury reporting (internal and external)
- Management of Treasury Committee
About You:

- Association of Corporate Treasurers qualification or qualified by experience
- Substantial experience in senior treasury roles
- Experience of working capital management, private equity and knowledge of refinancing a must
- Experience of driving continuous improvement and managing change
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work; experience of working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good experience of MS Office, including strong Excel skills
