Ministry of Cake is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of UK produced hand finished cakes, puddings and desserts. Suppliers to cafés, restaurants and pubs; our customers include JD Wetherspoon, Caffe Nero and Hard Rock Café and TGI Friday. Recently we have begun exporting to a large cafe chain across Europe and have plans to expand into China in 2017.
We employ 400 people at our two factories in Taunton and Torquay, producing more than three million slices of cake a week. Voted 2016 Business of the Year at the PwC West awards and South West CEO of the year in the BVCA business awards, this rapidly expanding business turns over £30m annually and is growing at a rate of around 12% a year.
Not surprising then that Ministry of Cake was recently described by The Telegraph as a UK business ‘’growth champion’’ which is ”turbo charging the economy.”
